this sentence in its so-general-form is not true at all. Oh no. You are not really suggesting that, are you? I see what you are trying to achieve but micro-packages, like you are suggesting, are really a step in the wrong direction. After all they will enforce other space problems then those you had before. It will increase the number of dependencies of a package, the needed space for package lists on every system and last but not least higher the space required on our mirrors.
