I've tested a snapshot (r16603) of Scala. It builds correctly with
openjdk-6-jdk. I works perfectly.
I've created two branches (2.7.2-r16603/upstream and
2.7.2-r16603/master) on our Git repository:
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-scala/packages/scala.git
To build it, you can try (using cowbuilder):
git-buildpackage --git-upstream-branch=2.7.2-r16603/upstream
--git-debian-branch=2.7.2-r16603/master --git-pristine-tar
--git-builder="pdebuild --pbuilder cowbuilder --debbuildopts '-i\.git/
-I.git $*'"
Binary packages are available at:
http://debian.dogguy.org/incoming/
May be we can upload in Debian scala 2.7.2-r16603 directly.
