Package: etckeeper
Version: 0.21
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man1/etckeeper.1.gz

It seems this man page might belong in section 8 of the manual.
On the other hand I was looking for something like this to coordinate
$HOME/.bash... on my user account between two machines too.

Man page could mention /usr/share/doc/etckeeper/README.gz .
And there:
> Now you might want to run `git status` to check that it includes all
cd /etc; git-status

BTW, /etc was traditionally on a "tiny root partition"... perhaps
mention how to put .git elsewhere, if you don't already. Else
partition full...

OK, initial results: trimmed this list down to just 60 files, then did
the first commit. However .git is still 13 megabytes...
