I'd like to second this request. With the release of lenny, I've been seeing a lot of people posting messages about how their upgrades failed and they don't know why. Inevitably, they attach a long typescript of hundreds of irrelevant dpkg messages, with the one line that actually made it fail buried in the middle. I am foolishly optimistic enough to believe that if the offending package was easier to spot, they might be able to get help with their failures more efficiently, e.g. by going to the right place right away. :-)
