Otherwise, I am not going to create a whole new version for Debian based on the upstream CVS. libmtp is a quite important package in Debian, many others depend on it, and I am not going to take the risk of going down the road of CVS-tracking releases. If no minimal patch is provided (I mean, really minimal), I will downgrade the severity of this bug report to "normal".
