Package: postgresql-8.3 Severity: minor After installing postgresql-8.3 with all needed packages the standard user postgres cannot use any of the commands in /usr/lib/postgresql/8.3/bin/. To solve this problem, please add this directory to the PATH-variable in /etc/profile also for normal-accounts. Another solve may be links from /usr/bin to /usr/lib/postgresql/8.3/bin/*, wich must work after installing the postgresql-package
