At some point in the past, we got this change in linux-image-<ver>.postinst: -my $loader = "lilo"; # lilo, silo, quik, palo, vmelilo, nettrom, arcboot or delo +my $loader = ""; # lilo, silo, quik, palo, vmelilo, nettrom, arcboot or delo This means that lilo isn't run automagically on kernel upgrades anymore.
