Package: xosview Version: 1.8.2-6 Severity: serious Tags: sid Justification: fails to build from source
The sparc buildd failed to build this package due to a g++ error. Many packages that attepmted buidling on that day had gcc problems, so this looks like a gcc version or buildd problem. On my sparc pbuilder I got: g++ -W -Wall -O2 -I. -DXOSVIEW_VERSION=\"1.8.2\" -I/tmp/buildd/xosview-1.8.2 -I/tmp/buildd/xosview-1.8.2/linux -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DHAVE_BOOL=1 -DLONG_LONG=long\ long -DHAVE_SNPRINTF=1 -DHAVE_IOSTREAM=1 -DHAVE_FSTREAM=1 -DHAVE_XPM=1 -DGNULIBC=1 -DUSESYSCALLS=1 -DHAVE_USLEEP=1 -I.. -c serialmeter.cc -o serialmeter.o serialmeter.cc:36:20: sys/io.h: No such file or directory serialmeter.cc: In member function `bool SerialMeter::getport(short unsigned int)': serialmeter.cc:78: warning: unused parameter `short unsigned int port' make[2]: *** [serialmeter.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/buildd/xosview-1.8.2/linux' make[1]: *** [meterlib] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/buildd/xosview-1.8.2' make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
