No, since you can use module assistant, or you can have it built using linux-modules-2.6-nonfree (just as soon as we get it enabled in that). It doesn't require module-assistant, but it does work with it if you choose to use it. I do plan to make it work with make-kpkg again soon (which I unfortunately broke as part of making it work with 2.6.29 and linux-modules-2.6-nonfree). > > What arguments/environment do you pass along to binary_modules? Something like: VERSION=180.44-2+2.6.29-3 That would match what module-assistant is setting it to.
