Package: duplicity Version: 0.4.11-2 Severity: wishlist Trying to back up 460Gb takes about 5 days on the machine I have available. I have tried now for half a month to make a backup with duplicity, but it dies 6 times already, due to bugs, memory problems, or network issues. Just today, it died after 4.5 days!
The worst is that there is no way to resume a broken backup. I've done about 400Gb of a backup in those 4.5 days, and now have to delete it all and start again. That makes duplicity pretty useless for larger datasets. It would be nice if a backup could just be resumed. -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madd...@d.o> Related projects: : :' : proud Debian developer http://debiansystem.info `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck http://vcs-pkg.org `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
