Am I correct to assume that the debian patch 60_something needs to be removed? At least that's what I did to get it all the patches to apply. I then installed the newly build package and ran /usr/sbin/update-bootsystem-insserv with the watchdog init script now having this header: ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: watchdog # Short-Description: Start software watchdog daemon # Required-Start: $remote_fs $syslog # Required-Stop: $all # Should-Start: udev hal gdm kdm xdm $named # Should-Stop: # X-Start-Before: rmnologin # Default-Start: 2 3 4 5 # Default-Stop: 0 1 6 ### END INIT INFO Does anyone of you see a mistake here? Should this make watchdog become the sole K01 script? At least it doesn't work: mich...@feivel:~$ ls /etc/rc6.d/K01* /etc/rc6.d/K01alsa-utils /etc/rc6.d/K01cryptdisks /etc/rc6.d/K01fuse /etc/rc6.d/K01urandom /etc/rc6.d/K01watchdog /etc/rc6.d/K01wpa-ifupdown Neither of these scripts carries a $all in a stop line. Any idea where to look?
