Oh. No idea if the udev hooks are called when there is no kernel module loading. > What should then happen? Then the system clock should be set from the hardware clock in hwclockfirst.sh which is called before checkroot.sh, independently from any udev calls. Anyway, I believe this must be an issue with the new util-linux package, and reassign it there.
