As Henrik pointed out, lbdb is a very useful program for MUAs like Mutt
(but not only for them) and keeping libvformat tidy shouldn't be much of
a problem.
Are you OK with a one-off NMU to get libvformat addressing some of the
bugs in the BTS?
I'm willing to do a QA upload, if you're OK with orphaning the package.
