I think here you are replying against keeping or dropping the NMU. FWIW, I've tested the built VM at least with simple examples (a-la Hello, World). Feel free to do the extra tests you think are needed and/or suggest me the appropriate tests. ... or dcut the NMU, as you deem appropriate.
