The presence of 'Architecture' field is explicitly stated in Debian Policy. Without this field, any package manager cannot assume the package is installable on current machine and must be discarded. You should fix them to contain proper 'Architecture' field. I renamed this bug as 'check for architecture field', to make libcupt error out gracefully and not crash, which was just done in master branch. -- Eugene V.
