Package: lldpd
Version: 0.4.0-2
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
please consider making it easier to parse lldpctl's output from a
script. I would like to suggest that lldpctl will have command line
options to select the information to be output:
lldpctl --interface eth0 - only print information regarding interface eth0
lldpctl --interface eth0 --sysName - print sysName of LLDP remote
device on eth0 without any explanation
lldpctl --interface eth0 --portID - print PortID from LLDP remote
device on eth0 without any explanation
Greetings
Marc
