Package: xfree86-driver-synaptics Version: 0.14.2-2 Severity: serious When booting and starting in kdm, the touchpad works fine, but when kde 3.4 (from alioth) starts after login, the touchpad is disabled again.
The only way to get it back to work is: sudo modprobe -r psmouse && sudo modprobe psmouse in kde, and the touchpad is on again. best regards Bastian -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12.2-laptop Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages xfree86-driver-synaptics depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxi6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System Input extension li ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 X Window System client libraries m ii xserver-xorg [xserver-xfr 6.8.2.dfsg.1-3 the X.Org X server xfree86-driver-synaptics recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
