Package: vamp-plugin-sdk
Version: 1.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

We're building ardour against the system-wide VAMP libraries. Unfortunately,
the VAMP version in Debian is older than the one ardour is expecting. The
namespaces differ, which finally leads to a crash.

I found a workaround for ardour, so things are fine again, but the real fix
would be to update the VAMP libs in Debian, hence this bug report. Please
update to a newer VAMP SDK, which is v2.1 as of this writing.

For a complete reference on the ardour bug, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=560052

TIA
