Package: libsoup2.4-1
Version: 2.29.91-1
Severity: normal
Tags: ipv6

My IPv6 route to home is currently down. libsoup does not handle
this like it should. For instance, curl just falls back to IPv4:

  % curl --verbose --cacert /etc/ssl/certs/cacert.org.pem
https://domine.madduck.net
  * About to connect() to domine.madduck.net port 443 (#0)
  * Trying 2001:1620:2018:2::4d6d:8b5a... Network is unreachable
  *   Trying 77.109.139.90... connected
  * Connected to domine.madduck.net (77.109.139.90) port 443 (#0)

I don't have any debug output for libsoup, but I ran into this:

  Problem:
http://www.mail-archive.com/syncevolut...@syncevolution.org/msg00440.html
  Solution:
http://www.mail-archive.com/syncevolut...@syncevolution.org/msg00451.html

and the verdict is quite clear: libsoup does not try IPv4 after it
failed to connect to IPv6. I think it should.
