Package: gw6c Version: 6.0.1dfsg.1-8 Severity: normal
I have two pcs that share an adsl connection, one usually running (i386) and one only run for short periods of time. Both run gw6c. The i386 machine has an ipv6 irc connection to freenode, which tends to drop out when the amd64 machine is brought up and when the amd64 machine is connecting to the internet via ipv6 using gw6c. The ipv6 irc connection can sometimes run stably on the i386 machine in the presence of the amd64 machine also running gw6c, but drop-outs are more frequent when the amd64 machine is running gw6c. /etc/gw6c/gw6c.conf: userid=(removed) passwd=(removed) server=sixgw.internode.on.net auth_method=any host_typ=router prefixlen=64 if_prefix=eth0 dns_server=192.231.203.132 gw6_dir= auto_retry_connect=yes retry_delay=30 retry_delay_max=300 keepalive=yes keepalive_interval=30 tunnel_mode=v6anyv4 if_tunnel_v6v4=sit1 if_tunnel_v6udpv4=tun if_tunnel_v4v6=sit0 client_v4=auto client_v6=auto template=linux proxy_client=no broker_list=tsp-broker-list.txt last_server=tsp-last-server.txt always_use_same_server=no log_filename=gw6c.log log_rotation=yes log_rotation_size=32 log_rotation_delete=no syslog_facility=USER -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32 (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gw6c depends on: ii iproute 20100224-3 networking and traffic control too ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.4.3-7 GCC support library ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8n-1 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.4.3-7 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii net-tools 1.60-23 The NET-3 networking toolkit Versions of packages gw6c recommends: ii radvd 1:1.6-1 Router Advertisement Daemon gw6c suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
