There should be a new package soon, called gogoc.
Thanks, I found it on the Internode Debian mirror for amd64, but had to
switch to another mirror to find gogoc for i386.
Both run gw6c.
I have a similiar setup but only one gw6c connection as it is setup as a
router. With radvd on it it just works like magic.
Are you absolutely sure that internode permits multiple gw6c tunnels
using the same account? That could explain why you are getting those
drop-outs.
Can you also increase the logging level and send me the logs of the i386
computer? That should hopefully tell us why the connection dies.
Also can you send the ifconfig tun of both systems?
Finally when irc drops out can you traceroute to some ipv6 host
from both of your computers?

Please close this bug. I had misunderstood that radvd was only needed if
one was providing IPV6 access to other machines not running gw6c/gogoc.
This was probably due to setting gw6c and radvd up from source that I
had compiled myself before the Debian gw6c and radvd packages became
available.
As I am often in the situation of one of the two machines here being
shut down while the other is using IPV6, it is more practical to have
separate IPV6 tunnels on each machine rather than one machine tunnel for
another.
When I was doing the upgrades to gogoc and removal of radvd I was not
running any irc sessions over IPV6.
Since the upgrades I have been able to connect to ftp.at.debian.org via
ftp over IPV6 from both machines at the same time.
Regards,
Arthur.
