This is a known bug (#485070) and doesn't actually cause a problem, though I realise that the error message is alarming and should be fixed. 8<------------------------------------------------------------------ >8 Hello,I'd rather object to this. As a consequence of this bug early cryptdisks are not loading correctly as reported in bugs #573073 and #485070. In my case the cryptdisk is not available for fsck or mount not even after manually restarting via /etc/init.d/cryptdisks restart. Below follows some system info; I'd happily provide more :-)
I have to mention that I updated cryptsetup at Tue, Apr 6 2010 08:06:20 +0200: [AKTUALISIERUNG] cryptsetup 2:1.1.0~rc2-1 -> 2:1.1.0-2. First failure was after this upgrade. Closed cryptsetup bugs #464673 and #541835 seem to be relevant.
The problem occurs with both linux-image-2.6.32-3-amd64 and linux-image-2.6.32-4-amd64. The system info below is for the latter.
