It's a valid bug. It is super easy to reproduce ... just try "apt-get source -b qmail-src" and you can easily see where it blows up. I have found the regression, and am still trying to sort out how to get back to a working state, and then merge back in the changes that I have made since the regression. I have been hesitant to submit what I have done without making sure I'm not producing yet another regression. I just haven't had much time to work on it. I'll get it done this week though. I understand your urgency in wanting to get this patch finished, and I will be sensitive to that urgency. Cheers!
