I have one though about it: According to Policy 12.5 Copyright information every package must be accompanied by a verbatim copy of its copyright information and distribution license, or if it is one of the ones in common-licenses refering for a full text there. Ok, now Apache 2.0 is not in common-licenses and will in next time not be therein, see http://bugs.debian.org/458385 Thus one idea: How about nevertheless trying to regognize this correctly, even Artistic-2.0 is not in common-licenses, adding a 'License: Artistic-2.0' in the stanza, but instead of adding then a short refering to the short form, and linking to /usr/share/common- licenses, put a Note that verbatim copy has to be added?
