* Package name : triggerhappy Version : 0.1.3 Upstream Author : Stefan Tomanek <stefan.tomanek...@wertarbyte.de> * URL : https://github.com/wertarbyte/triggerhappy * License : GPL Programming Lang: C Description : a system-wide hotkey and input event daemon Triggerhappy is a hotkey daemon that operates on a system wide scale. Instead of relying on a specific user being logged in and running the daemon in his X session, the triggerhappy daemon attaches directly to the input device files and interprets the event data received. Upon noticing configured events, it executes the programs specified in its configuration. By doing so, it ensures that certain functions (like regulating volume, activating the network etc.) are available regardless of a specific user being logged in as well as makes them controllable on a headless system (e.g. an embedded media player system). The daemon supports hotplugging by employing a simple client program being called by udev. The software is available through its git repository, a (simple) debian/ directory is also available in the debian branch. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
