The biniax2 desktop file contains two = signs in the Comment line, thus

comment starts with = in applications displaying the comment.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:
The patch removes the additional equals sign from the Comment line, thus
the Comment line is not displayed as starting with = anymore in
applications that do display the desktop file's comment.
