Existing tabs, including one running " screen -aAO " were not affected. --Opening a new gnome-terminal window from the existing window did not fix; only exiting out of all instances of gnome-terminal and restarting it from scratch did the trick. Note: Hitting Control-M worked as a jackleg workaround when hitting Enter failed. --Trying ' export TERM=rxvt ^M ' from the stricken gnome-terminal did not fix. --rxvt was not affected by the bug. // might want to put a big warning message on the package there. /// Thank you for your support :-) ===== Check out System Rescue Live CD: ===== http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=systemrescue "C00K13 M0N573R 0WNZ J00!!
