Package: mail-notification Version: 5.4.dfsg.1-2.5 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I'm not sure it is a bug of mail-notification or some bad interaction with gnome. If the "Mail Reader" is defined in gnome (through System->Preferences->Preferred Applications) as the "Custom" command: gnome-terminal --execute mutt %s mail-notification is not able to launch it: it only opens a gnome-terminal. However, if "Mail Reader" is defined as "Mutt" (mutt %s with "Run in terminal"), it works. Hope this can be useful.
