I'm facing the same issue. Running an updated wheezy (GNOME, 32 bits system), Network Manager forgets the WPA-PSK passsword key every time, I have to manually write down continously: when system first starts, if wifi link is lost and then I have to reconnect... The password field is always blank in NM applet.
