The bug isn't new, see #442924. Yes, the severity wasn't proper there, but that doesn't change that you didn't respond at all to it since last year, making it look like you are MIA. There are other bugreports too (like changing netscape in src/arch/unix/x11/ui-resources.c to x-www-browser and adding a symbolic link from /usr/lib/vice/doc to /usr/share/doc/vice/html to make the docs work) that weren't really addressed ...
