Sorry for the delay - I wanted to test some things. You're right indeed - the binary looks for the library in the right place after all. I was too quick to jump to that conclusion.
I have installed the package on my laptop (i386) and it's working there. On my desktop (which I sent this bug report with), it also works, but only if run as root. As a regular user, the behaviour is as described; i.e. it doesn't do anything at all. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
