Package: vegastrike
Version: 0.5~svn12126-2
(output of reportbug attached)
I have tried further messing around with vssetup and running vegastrike
itself. The main game loads up but only the ship is visible in the
centre of the screen, along with the error message "ERROR: no rooms
specified". Changing the vssetup config does not change this outcome,
nor prevent the segfault on vsinstall.

You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/490119 in Debian BTS
against the package vegastrike. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/585758. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
