Well, upstream is already working on this. In fact, the test above passes in the new version (which I've just pushed to collab-maint), but the next one fails. You may try to pinpoint the problem, but it is very likely the fact that python-pyelftools do not follow /etc/ld.conf configuration. Tomasz
