Hi Arturo,
if you are interested in tackling this, I would proceed like this

  * you should confirm that python-pyelftools ignore dynamic linker
    configuration (I suspect this is true); it would be good to
    extract a minimal Python program using pyelftools that shows this

  * if it is true, then a bug report is justified; however, the
    upstream may consider this to be be due to Debian multi-arch, and
    be reluctant to fix it

I don't have much time for this bug right now, and although it is RC,
I don't see it as such. If required, the test suite may be turned off.
