Package: dovecot
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

after upgrading dovecot today, the /usr/sbin/dovecot cannot be stopped
by KILL -HUP, and /etc/init.d/dovecot stop respectively.

Moreover, the process consumes loads of resources.

top reports:

Any hint?
