Hi, I've had a bit of a look at this bug. I've now tried to build git on two different machines running different hardware (octeon and loongson) and it built fine both times so I'm not too sure what's going on here.
All 3 builds which failed were Loongson machines running 3.16 kernels. While I know they have FPU problems, I wouldn't have thought that would give an out of memory error. It would be good to get the package rebuilt on an Octeon to see if it is a hardware problem. Thanks, James
