Hmm, this was supposed to have been fixed in xserver-xorg 1:7.0.11 by removing the symlink in question. :/ So there are two bugs here -- xserver-xorg needs to drop the symlink, and x11-common needs to bump its versioned conflict with xserver-xorg... The first can be fixed by just removing the debian/xserver-xorg.links file from the source package.
