Could you please attach the output of:
xkbcomp -xkb :0 -
setxkbmap -layout dvorak,gb -model pc105 -option compose:rwin -print | xkbcomp 
-xkb - -
setxkbmap -layout gb -model pc105 -option compose:rwin,altwin:super_win | 
xkbcomp -xkb - -

Also, whether or not either of the following commands take the server down:
setxkbmap -layout dvorak,gb -model pc105 -option compose:rwin
setxkbmap -layout gb -model pc105 -option compose:rwin,altwin:super_win
