I just revisited the bug report and I fully agree with you. The package really should be in contrib instead and possibly download the files in the postinst script with a warning attached to it. However, a quick glance shows that there is also some basic Westwood Online support in the package, and albeit still experimental it seems as it is usable without non-free data files. I don't know if this is really usable, though. It is difficult to find information about pvpgn-support. The mpq files seem to contain executables used to patch the client. Those *might* be written by PvPGN developers, to remove the version check from the clients. OTOH it could also be that those are modified Blizzard binaries. I was not able to extract it from the MPQ with the Windows tools I ran with wine. The only binary blobs in which I am really not able to look into are the icons*.bni in pvpgn-support. From the name it sounds that it is likely that they contain Blizzard's works but it is just guessing. 16379 2004-01-22 23:53 icons.bni 24555 2004-01-22 23:53 icons_STAR.bni 36931 2004-01-22 23:53 icons-WAR3.bni At least the package got a new maintainer now, as my upload was a QA one to prevent the removal of the package due to RC bugs. Still there was a wrong judgement for which I apologise. Kind regards, Philipp Kern -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
