I hereby propose and accept amendments to all my proposed versions along the lines of the commit below which I have just made to the git repo. I hope this satisfies everyone. Note that the T options have not yet been formally proposed by anyone. As the sole proposer I can accept amendments at will. If Russ (or someone else) had proposed the T options, then I would have proposed these as amendments to Russ's versions which it would fall to Russ to accept (or reject).
