Er, *beep, wrong*. That will remove _all_ links, which means that your changes will be lost at the next upgrade. update-rc.d remove is meant to be called from postrm. It would be nice if update-rc.d included a convenience option to remove all S?? links, but it doesn't. -- - mdz
