This is only true in cases where you get more than one Debian revision out of a given upstream release of a package before the sources expire out of your cache. In general, I see that individual source packages tend to be much larger than the corresponding binary packages that users would be downloading; so this is only of benefit on packages that rev frequently, and on the whole, it's probably a net loss. -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
