If you wish to create a process, then work with other like-minded people, or use an appropriate mailing list--perhaps debian-project. If you wish to object to a specific package, take it to the maintainer, not debian-devel, or else propose a GR to have the package prohibited from Debian. Your FUD is appropriate in neither case.
