-----Forwarded message from Klee Dienes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>----- Subject: Bug#10795: makefiles for nethack are i386-specific From: Klee Dienes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Package: nethack Version: 3.2.2 The makefiles for nethack assume that it is being built on an intel-based machine (they use i486-whatever-gcc). They should be changed to use the standard gcc, or barring that, to detect the architecture on which the package is compiled and use a different gcc. -----End of forwarded message----- Okay, what's the recommended solution for this .. other than porting nethack over to use libc6 (which can't be done at the moment because of the lack of a libc6 xpm library). How does one detect the architecture of the machine being used? -- Paul Haggart - phaggart at cybertap dot com - Debian Linux - PGP 0xD61313E9 "I'll hit you so hard, when you fart your mom will think it's easter!!" - Bill Maher -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
