These are all the same problem, I think, but I don't understand the problem. It's an inability to upgrade from lenny to squeeze that's blocking because of a problem with Xerces-C: Investigating (0) libxml-security-c-dev [ amd64 ] < 1.4.0-3+lenny2 -> 1.5.1-3 > ( libdevel ) Broken libxml-security-c-dev:amd64 Depends on libxerces-c-dev [ amd64 ] < none -> 3.1.1-1+b1 > ( libdevel ) Considering libxerces-c-dev:amd64 1 as a solution to libxml-security-c-dev:amd64 -1 Holding Back libxml-security-c-dev:amd64 rather than change libxerces-c-dev:amd64 but I don't understand why it's not upgrading libxerces-c-dev, which is the correct solution. libxerces-c-dev itself didn't fail, which makes this even more mystifying. -- Russ Allbery (r...@debian.org) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-devel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
