+1 this is exactly the reason why we adopted *one* default Tcl/Tk instead of the broken-by-design use of admin-changeable alternatives. Interpreters are not the right target for such an approach. We have to choose a safe default version and provides optionally other versions with strict dependencies used only when required. -- Francesco P.
