Direct links to log should work already, it's only *browsing* the logs which requires login.
I often include links to debci logs in upstream bug reports, and without details I think solving issues will be harder... sometimes bugs cannot be reproduced outside of the debci infrastructure, and allowing upstream to see real logs is useful.
The bigger issue here is that we're recycling logs after a while due to resource constraints. I guess what would be nice is a "I linked this log on the internet and I'd like to keep it for longer" button.
