Hi everyone, After a productive private exchange with Thorsten last week we agreed it would be best for me to close the matter by making a public statement:
I am truly sorry to have caused Thorsten's anguish. The text Thorsten quoted could have used more mincing to make it clearer that the intent was not to minimize the work of any other contributors in FTP team. While I recognized the lack of FTP team input and perspective in the text before publication time constraints on my end made it infeasable to reach out and spend yet more time on crafting the message. --Daniel Debian Community Team On Mon, Jan 26, 2026 at 10:59:39AM +0100, Thorsten Alteholz wrote: > wow, from a team member dealing with one task to a single-person team within > a few lines of text. > > Why don't you mention the other tasks that other team members had been > working on?
