I think what people have tried to convey is that "Libre" in this context is a qualitative adjective? While the other blends use other types of adjectives? Perhaps to try to exemplify this, I guess people are perceiving that this would be equivalent to have a blend that is named for example "Debian Unbroken" (which would imply that stock Debian is "Broken", while "Astro"/"Med"/"Edu"/etc do not convey any quality (and their opposite to it).
