I suppose ee is also a candidate for the rescue disks if it fits (it offers searching, which is something that ae doesn't do, and it's smaller than elvis-tiny). Also, note that we probably wouldn't be talking about replacing ae at all if it weren't for problems with earlier versions (which seem to be fixed at this point).
